PCL

Viatec's PCL is a full function, industry standard locator. It comes with an earpiece for use in noisy environments and can locate to a depth of 3m.

Lightweight and robust, it operates in 3 modes:

Power Mode - Locates live cables radiating a detectable signal.

Radio Mode - Locates metallic conductors radiating a detectable vlf signal.

Generator Mode - Locates metallic conductors carrying a detectable signal by induction or connection using the signal generator.

Signal Generator

For use in conjunction with the PCL, the generator applies a signal by induction or by direct connection to the service required with the appropriate lead. The generator comes complete with 3 pin plug connector, direct connection leads and earth stake.

Signal Clamp (100mm)

Enables safe application of a signal to insulated conductors, without the need of removing the insulation. A further advantage is provided through the addition of a distinct signal to the dedicated service reducing the chance of the signal coupling onto other services.
